Yvonne M. Palmer

Yvonne M. Palmer, 82, of Norwich, died on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at her residence.

Born on December 1, 1943, in Norwich, Yvonne was a daughter of the late Harold and Thelma (Steere) White. She attended school in Bridgewater, NY. For many years, Yvonne was a sewing machine operator at Champion Products in Norwich. She was also a local care giver for many during her lifetime. In retirement, Yvonne enjoyed going for her daily walks, playing puzzle games, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and was always looking to add to her large frog collection. For over twenty years, Yvonne had resided at Golden Age Apartments, where she made many friends.

Yvonne is survived by her children, Phillip (Mellissa) Manwarren, of Mt. Upton and Steven (Sylvia) White, of Norwich; many loved grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings, Beverly (Don) Hull, of Clayville, NY and Marilyn Rogers, of Norwich.

Yvonne was predeceased by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Palmer, and her daughter, Robin Wright.

Burial will occur in the spring of 2026 in Sauquoit Valley Cemetery.
