William F. "Bill" Chrisbacher

William F. “Bill” Chrisbacher, 65, of Norwich, died at his residence on Sunday, June 1, 2025 following a brief illness.

Born on November 25, 1959 in Patterson, NJ, Bill was a son of the late Frank and Joan (Walker) Chrisbacher. As a child, his family relocated to the Oxford, NY area. He was a 1978 graduate of Oxford Academy. Known by many locals for his carpentry skills, Bill owned and operated his own fix-it company named “Mr. Bill’s” which he did for over twenty years. Bill also worked for Kerry Bio-Science for twenty-nine years in the maintenance department until his retirement in 2024.

Bill loved animals, enjoyed history, music, fireworks, hunting, fishing, had a love for Ford trucks, and liked riding in his spyder motorcycle. He was an easy going, fun loving, upbeat friend to all and supported his family and friends in all their adventures in life. Bill often could be found relaxing with his friends, playing jokes on them, and taking in all life had to offer. A huge football fan, Bill always made time to watch the Rams. He will be greatly missed and remembered by his family and friends.

In 1998, Bill married Dawn Winter. In addition to his wife, Dawn Chrisbacher, of Norwich, Bill is survived by his children, Kesha Chrisbacher (Casey Trinkas), of Oriskany Falls, NY, and Colby Chrisbacher (Emily Acee) of Sherburne; step-children, Jennifer Lovelace, of Norwich, and Jim (Shannon) Lovelace, of Auburn, NY; grandchildren, Nasick, Davis, Thea, and Evie; step-grandchildren, Kyleigh and Madison; siblings Sue (Bill) Parker, of Norwich and Ken Chrisbacher, of Norwich; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his sister, Diane King.

To honor Bill’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County, 33-39 Court Street, Norwich, NY 13815 or the Chenango SPCA, 6160 County Rd 32, Norwich, NY 13815.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted with the Wilson Funeral Home.
