Sally A. Raffaele

Sally A. Raffaele, 86, a lifelong Norwich resident, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Born on February 10, 1940, in Norwich, Sally was a daughter of the late William and Mary Louise (Baulf) Taylor. After her graduation from Norwich High School, Sally worked for the Norwich Knitting Company before devoting her life to her family. Sally was a member and volunteer of St. Bartholomew'’s Church.

Sally is survived by her husband, Anthony Raffaele, of Norwich; daughter, Rose (Chris Carlson), of Norwich; son, John (Michelle Merlino), of Norwich; granddaughter, Angela Carlson, of Norwich; and sister, Mary Lou Wallen, of Norwich.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sally will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Church of St. Bartholomew. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Sally’s family wishes to express gratitude to Sharon Peck for the last few years for the care given to Sally and her family to keep her comfortable in her own home.
