Robert S. “Bob” Despres, 69, of Norwich, died on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Chenango Memorial Hospital. He was born in Norwich on November 3, 1952 and was the son of Robert and Jeanne (Sargent) Despres. Bob graduated from Norwich High School in 1971 and entered the United States Army. For eight years he served in Vietnam earning many awards. He worked later in life in the pharmaceutical industry.
A graveside service with Military Honors for Bob will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
