After she finished the bookkeeping there, she headed to the Norwich Junior High School to work in the school cafeteria. Marjorie would come home, meet us after we got off the bus, fix dinner, and off to Mila Fabrics she would go to work in the evening. When mom retired, she started volunteering at the hospital and then on to the Pink Door for over 22 years. Our mom loved gardening, sewing, bowling, and, with her sister, Jeanette, horses and watching birds out the kitchen window. She was a loving mother, whom we will never forget, with a gentle hand and a loving hear
