Lewis B. Lamb, III

Lewis B. Lamb, III, of Norwich, died on Thursday, March 20, 2026 at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, NY.

Born on March 13, 1949, in Norwich, Lewis was a son of the late Lewis and Shirley (Carpenter) Lamb. He grew up in Norwich and served honorably in the United States Army. For most of his adult life, Lewis traveled with Reithoffer Shows, Inc. based out of Gibsonton, FL, as a ride jock setting up carnivals and fairs across the country. In retirement, Lewis moved back to Norwich. Lewis enjoyed reading and taking long rides.

Lewis is survived by his children; Jennifer (Calvin) Davis, of Orangesburg, SC, Rebecca Washington, of Sherburne, Gregory Lamb (Tatiana Ayers), of Norwich, Matthew Lamb, of Norwich, and Marinda (Christopher) Danner, of Conklin; grandchildren, Ziheem Delay, Lee Head, Elayna Lamb, Gage Titsworth, Matthew Denovais, Haily Lamb, Page Lamb, Amiyah Lamb, Patrick Jock, Natalie Jock, Kendall Hayes, and Spencer Hayes; siblings, Wilson Moore, Dale (Donna) Brooker, Jerry (Robbie) Lamb, James (Kris) Lamb, and Leon Lamb; sister-in-law, Cherry Lamb; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Christpher Lamb; siblings, Sharon Brooker, Richard Lamb, and David Lamb; and sister-in-law, Vicky.

To honor Lewis’ wishes, there will be no formal services. Memorial contributions in memory of Lewis may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
