Kevin L. Stilwell

Kevin L. Stilwell, 65, formerly of Oxford, and more recently of Vestal, died at UHS Wilson Medical Center on Monday, October 23, 2023.

Born in Oneonta, NY, he was the son of the late Leland and Josephine (Smith) Stilwell. He was raised in Morris and later moved to Oxford when his father’s career at the Raymond Corporation relocated them. He attended Oxford Academy and as an adult moved to Vestal where he worked for a variety of companies as a mechanic for heavy equipment, most recently for Barney & Dickenson Inc., of Vestal, NY. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, car restoration, and country music.

He is survived by his sister, Lisa Stilwell, of Norwich; brothers, Reginald and his wife, Paula, of Parker, CO; and Shawn and his wife, Diane, of Delta, PA; niece, Danielle Boehm; and nephew Shane Stilwell.

A private burial will occur at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Norwich at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted with the Wilson Funeral Home.
