Edward J. Kipp

Edward J. “ Eddie” Kipp, 84, of Sherburne, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

Born on April 20, 1941, in Old Forge, NY, Ed was a son of the late Donald Kipp and Florence (Murer) Ricotta. Ed served in the United States Marines and worked for a most of his life at Clark Equipment in Syracuse, NY manufacturing air conditioner parts.

He enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, boating, going to eat at restaurants, visiting his friends and getting in his car to get the mail and go for rides. His time shared with his Palmer family at Canadarago Lake will always be something they cherish. Eddie was also a member of the Sherburne American Legion.

He was married to Phebe Kipp, who predeceased him on April 24, 2019. Eddie is survived by his many dear friends and member of the Phebe’s family.

A graveside service for Edward will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the North Norwich Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted with the Wilson Funeral Home.
