Dorothy L. Brochu

Dorothy LaRay “Dottie” Brochu, 85, of Oxford, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters on Friday, November 7, 2025.

She was born on April 11, 1940, a daughter of the late Ivan and Mabel (Johnson) Wilcher. Dorothy was fortunate to see all 50 states and enjoy her life after raising her five children and working as the head chef in the cafeterias of West Babylon, NY school district for over ten years.

She leaves behind her daughters, Celia Stallworth, of Oxford, NY, Keelee Stallworth, of Oxford, NY, and Bobbie Dee West, of Satellite Beach, FL.

She was a proud resident of Oxford, NY for 30 years. Dottie was recognized for being the nice little old lady that handed out treats and gifts with wet kisses. She will be missed very much by her family, friends, and the community. Mother, you gave us life, you gave us love, you sheltered us from harm, you are our best friend and you will always be our everything. We will be longing until the day we meet again.

Funeral arrangments were entrusted with the Wilson Funeral Home.
