Christopher P. Fazio

Christopher P. “Chris” Fazio, 56, of Norwich and Oxford, died with his wife by his side on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at SUNY Upstate Hospital in Syracuse, NY. He died on his own terms and lived life to the fullest.

Born on November 26, 1969, in Sarasota, FL, Chris was a son of the late Thomas, Sr. and Carol (Richards) Fazio. He spent a great part of his childhood in Florida until his family relocated to the Norwich area. For many years, Chris was master granite countertop contractor working for several different local companies. In his leisure time, Chris enjoyed watching movies, playing video games, and listening to music – especially Journey.

On November 8, 1986, Chris married Bridget Panburn.

In addition to his wife, Bridget Fazio, he is survived by his children, Schon Fazio, of Sarasota, FL, and Justin (Jessica) Fazio, of South Plymouth, NY; grandchildren, Jocelynn, Sophia, and Kallix; siblings, Thomas Fazio, Jr., Timothy (Jill) Fazio, and Steven Fazio; and nephew, Brandon Fazio.

A graveside service for Chris will be held at Hillington Cemetery in Morris, NY at a date to be announced.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted with the Wilson Funeral Home.
