Charlotte E. Phillips

Charlotte E. Phillips, 80, of Sauquoit, NY, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 in the warmth of the Florida sun.

Born on March 21, 1946, in Ilion, NY, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Metzger) Burns. She grew up and spent her childhood in Cedarville, NY. For many years, Charlotte was a proud employee for Bank of America’s research department , where bring your grandchild to work day was her favorite.

Charlotte had a laugh that filled the room, the biggest, most beautiful smile and an even bigger heart. Both were often seen as she surrounded herself with family, friends, and her dear pets and the occasional wildlife rescue. She later found great joy in her companionship with Michael. Charlotte could often be seen singing or dancing to her favorite country music, and Alan Jackson would always get the radio turned up and that bright, flashy smile.

Charlotte was a bright personality who cheered on and showed up for everyone in her life. She was so proud of her family and always made sure to tell them that. Her love and guidance will be terribly missed.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Jim (Nancy) Phillips, Lisa (Kenny) Polly, Earl Phillips III, Deborah (Dave) Albright, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephew, Howard (Diann) Tehan; great nephews, Terry (Heather) Tehan and Chad (Jennifer) Tehan; great niece, Katie (Michael) McConnell; cousins, Carol Moody and Marian (Clifford) Neilson; as well as her companion, Michael Davis.

A graveside service for Charlotte will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedarville Cemetery, Cedarville Road, Ilion, NY.
