Charlene L. DeSha

Charlena L. DeSha, 51, of Norwich, died on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 2, 1971, in Delhi, NY, Charlene was a daughter of John and Carolyn (Jenks) Moulton. She grew up in both the Stamford and Unadilla, NY regions. More recently, Charlene worked for Norwich Aero as a machinist and at G.E. in Norwich. She also worked part time for the Town of Plymouth Town Clerk. Charlene enjoyed shopping, tending to her flower gardens, making jams, and spending time with her family.

Charlene is survived by her husband, Kevin DeSha, of Norwich; children, Clayton (Kristen) Audette, of Coventry and Angelina Audette, of Norwich; stepson, Ashton Desha, of Norwich; siblings, Cathy (Randy) Lawrence, of New Berlin, Robin Marsh, of Ohio, and Bill (Teresa) Moulton, of Norwich; grandsons, Daniel and Hudson; childhood best friend, Shelley Decker, of Stanford, NY; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.

The family would like to express gratitude to Nidia, Theresa and Janette of Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County for the care and support they received.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with the Wilson Funeral Home.
