Carlo U. Loyola

Carlo Ursabia Loyola, born on November 5, 1995, and passed away on March 27, 2025, was the son of Gervacio Taban-ud Loyola and Emilie Cogal Ursabia. Carlo left behind his big sister Gerlie Ursabia Loyola. In 2004, Carlo, along with his mama and big sister, embarked on a journey from the Philippines to the United States, where they were welcomed by his stepfather Dennis Ivans and his step-siblings Harry, Dennis, Dawn, and Sandy Ivans, as well as his step-nephew Adam Kaya and step-niece Olivia Lake. A year later, Carlo became an older brother to Jesse James Ivans. Carlo was an exceptional older brother, inspiring Adam, Olivia, and Jesse with his kindness and compassion. After school, he loved to play with them, riding skateboards, jumping, and climbing walls, creating unforgettable memories. In 2015, Carlo proudly graduated from Jr-Sr High School in Manorville, New York, and remarkably earned 3rd Place in the NY Automotive Technology Competition held on February 10, 2015, presented by GNYADA Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association.

A visitation will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 68 South Broad Street, Norwich, NY, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 1: 00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to immediately to follow.

Following the funeral service, attendees are welcome to a gathering in the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. serving Carlo's favorites food with a traditional meal (pagkaon).
