Brenda L. Withers

Brenda L. Withers, 58, of Norwich, died on Friday, February 14, 2025 at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 10, 1966, in Utica, Brenda was a daughter of Earl Withers and Catherine Carpenter. She attended school in Utica and as a young adult lived in both Norfolk, VA and Millington, TN. While in Tennessee she worked for J. C. Penney’s. Brenda later moved to Norwich, where she raised her daughter. Brenda enjoyed writing poetry, drawing, crafting, singing, and helping others. 

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Samantha (Frank) Sisco, of Norwich; grand puppies Maggie and Roxie; sisters, Darleen Russett, Colleen Behr, and Catherine Withers, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Daryl Withers. 

Friends are invited to call at the Wilson Funeral Home, in Norwich, on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. with a funeral service to immediately follow, officiated by Deacon David Kirsch. Burial will occur at Mt. Hope Cemetery in the spring of 2025.
