Beverly J. Miles

Beverly J. Miles, 89, of Norwich, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at UHS Wilson Medical Center, with family by her side.

Born in Norwich on October 30, 1936, Beverly was a daughter of the late Alfred C. and Mary (Carnal) Pooler. She grew up in Norwich and graduated from Norwich High School in 1955. Beverly worked a several local establishments while raising her children until she took a position with Procter and Gamble Pharmaceutical until her retirement.

Beverly enjoyed traveling, crocheting, was an avid flower gardener, enjoyed painting and sketching and loved playing her piano at home. She always made time for her family and loved family gatherings. Beverly also enjoyed riding her John Deere gator – riding to her families homes and hauling firewood in her eighties.

On January 5, 2003, Beverly married Chris Miles, of Norwich, who survives. Beverly is also survived by her children, Diane (Chris) Parker, of South New Berlin, Arthur Leech, of Norwich, Curtis Leech (Nola Daniels), of Guilford, and Tim Miles (Erika Kwaznik), of Norwich; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; siblings, Maryann Thompson (Mike Sigmund), of Morris, Kay Kindenthaler, of Norwich, Curtis Pooler (Donna Edwards), of Candor; and many nieces and nephews. Beverly was predeceased by her daughter, Teresa Natoli, in 2019.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Wilson Medical Center for the excellent care given to Beverly and her family in the last few weeks.
