Anthony M. Muserallo

It is with indescribable heartache that we share the death of Anthony Michael Muserallo. With his wife and a few close family members by his side, Anthony succumbed to an aggressive brain tumor on February 1, 2026 at the age of 39.

Born October 10, 1986, in Norwich NY, Anthony was a curious and mischievous child, known to be found taking something apart to see how it worked, hanging upside down from a tree, or shooting his sister in the eyebrow with a Lego (lovingly of course). As part of the large Muzzy clan, he spent his childhood surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins alongside his nuclear family. Most important to him growing up were his siblings, Anna Muserallo Crosby and Aaron Muserallo who taught each other the meaning of unconditional love and support. Anthony was known growing up for his involvement as an athlete, playing baseball, wrestling, running track and most of all playing football. Despite his size, Anthony was recognized for being an incredibly hard hitter with tenacity and grit on the field.

Just before high school graduation, Anthony met who would become what he referred to as ‘his person’ throughout life, Alexandra Zupp – he put a spider on her desk in physics class, and the rest was true love. Anthony made Alex a Muserallo May 11, 2010, with a truly magical ceremony at the Palace Mirabel in Salzburg, Austria.

Anthony was known from a young age to be friendly to anyone he met and could brighten anyone’s day by sharing his incredible smile and sense of humor. After college, the couple moved to Cincinnati where Anthony began his lifelong career in Steel Fabrication; with no experience in Steel, he was hired based on his incredibly friendly, intelligent manor and obvious willingness to learn and grow. He was a fiercely dedicated family man and provider, who turned that first job into a 20-year career in Steel, studded with promotions and accolades including having an annual award signifying company Values named after him.

The couple had no children, choosing to live their lives as a pair, fulfilling their biggest passion regularly – traveling! Anthony was proud to say he visited many countries and continents around the world, sharing beautiful adventures at home and abroad, such as hiking a volcanic lava flow, buggying sand dunes, and learning to row a gondola in Venice; he also always adored whenever he got to ride a train.

Anthony faced some tremendous hardships, most notably his cancer diagnosis, but everyone who knew him was in awe of the positivity and gregarious personability with which he lived, even at the heigh of challenge.

Anthony leaves behind his wife Alexandra, sister Anna Crosby and half-sister Morgan Conkling now of NH and TN, and follows his brother Aaron who died in 2022. His parents Darlene Conkling and Gary Muserallo also survived their son.

At his and his wife’s wishes, there will be no events.
