Anne M. Wigdzinski, 65, of Bainbridge, died on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at home, surrounded by her children.
Anne was born on January 11, 1961, and grew up in upstate New York and a graduate of Susquehanna Valley High School. She then proceeded to build a life centered around love, dedication, and family with her children. Later in life, Anne earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and carried that strong work ethic and attention to detail throughout her life. For many years she worked at Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County and more recently for York Modern in Unadilla, NY. However, her greatest joy and most important role was that of a mother and grandmother. Her family was always her number one priority, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to those she loved.
Anne had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, hunting, gardening, and
spending time in nature. She also had a creative side and found joy in cake decorating, sharing her talents with family and friends on special occasions. She had a love for Hummingbirds and surrounded her house with feeders every year. She loved her annual vacations to FL for the beach and to spend time with family.
On July 15, 2023, Anne married the love of her life, William “Bill” Wigdzinski, with whom she shared a special bond and 20 years together.
Anne is survived by her loving children, Jason (Angel) LaShure, of Rome, NY, Erik (Catherine)
LaShure, of Fort Johnson, NY, and Crystal (Michael) Squires, of Dolgeville, NY; grandchildren, Zeke, Brisben, Abigail, and Victoria; great-grandchildren, Emma, Matheo, and Gavin; siblings, Val Fiori, of Vestal, NY, Jim (Glenda) Hunsinger, of Binghamton, NY, and Tammi (Bo) Sutton, of Gulf Breeze, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Bill; parents, Clayton & Marjorie (Dumas) Hunsinger; brother-in-law, Robert “Rob” Fiori; and grandson, Zachary Simons.
Anne will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
