Rebecca Davidson

Rebecca H. Davidson, 77, of Norwich, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Chenango Memorial Hospital.

Born October 12, 1936 in Walton, NY, Rebecca was the daughter of Joseph and Madeline (Stearns) Harby Sr. She worked for seven years as a sewing machine operator at Champion Products in Norwich. Rebecca will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who devoted herself to raising her family.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Allan; sons, Mark (Linda) and Mike (Sue); daughters, Sharon and Elizabeth Davidson; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters and two brothers. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Joe Jr. and a step-granddaughter, Denise Otteni.

Memorial services for Rebecca will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Wilson Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Hamilton of the Unadilla Presbyterian Church will officiate. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Hancock, NY.
