Michaela J. Conklin

Michaela J. “Mickie” Conklin, 68, of Norwich, died on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital.

Born on October 2, 1954 in Suffern, NY, Michaela was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Munhall) Conklin. She graduated from Suffern High School and later her found her way to Norwich. She worked for many years at Carl’s Drugs in Norwich as a cashier and later as an office assistant for Stephen Dunshee Law Office. Mickie was a member of the Columbus Community Church. She was a fan of dogs and loved music, especially classic Rock and Roll.

She is survived by her siblings, Patricia Hunter, Kathleen Freire, Darlene Roosa, and Daniel Conklin; good friend, Kathy Wells; home health aide, Christine Schuman; and dog, Tati. She was predeceased by her siblings, Eugenie and Veronica Conklin.

A memorial service will be held at the Columbus Community Church on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00am, where Pastor Dick Sliter, will officiate.
