Iris Delgado

Iris Delgado, 80, of Norwich, fell asleep in death on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Chenango Memorial Hospital.

Born on January 29, 1942, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Iris was the daughter of Juan and Fosefa (Berrios) Santiago. She was a resident of Norwich, NY for the past 30 years and lived among her family and many friends, each of whom loved her very much. Iris had many fine qualities and was a very lovable person. Among the many things Iris enjoyed was decorating, and cooking for the family. She had a very generous spirit. Among the many hopes that Iris had was living on a paradise earth, as in Psalms 37:10-11. She also had a strong hope in the resurrection, as in John 5:28-29.

Iris is survived by her husband, Rogelio Gomez Delgado; children, Rogelio Junito Delgado, Richard Jeminez, Joseph Jimenez, Diane Vasquez, and Teresa Conant; grandchildren, Isaiah Delgado, Andrew Delgado, Selena, Joshua Santos, Louisa Vasquez, Jennifer Vasquez, Herb Vasquez II, Elijah Craddock, Lucas Craddock, Carissa Jeminez, Adam Jeminez, and Josephine Jiminez; and great-grandchildren, Abby Santos, Desmond Pichardo, Adriel Pichardo, Josephine Jimenez Blaski, and Justine Blaski.
