Etta Bates, 85, formerly of Laurens, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich.
Born June 4, 1930, Etta was the daughter of Harold and Stella Miller. She is survived by her children Stanley Yager, Laurence Yager, Laura Chase, Betty Bates, Deborah Waid, and Dorothy McDaugh.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Wilson Funeral Home. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
