David Green

David E. Green, 69, of North Norwich, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, April 29, 2016.

Born October 10, 1946, David was the son of Everett and Ruth (Stackhouse) Green. Upon graduating from Norwich High School, David entered the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, David returned to Norwich and later began a long career with Norwich Eaton Pharmaceuticals where he worked in receiving, and eventually distribution and shipping prior to his retirement.

David very much enjoyed riding his motorcycle and finding restaurants while riding. He also was a collector of many things and had a love for trains. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

On October 7, 1967, at St. Paul’s Church, David married H. Dale Emrich, who survives him. He is also survived by son David T. Green and his wife, Sarah, of Mount Upton, and their son, Hogan, and expected birth of son, Shaw; daughter Jennifer Green and her husband, Sean O’Bryan, of Sherburne, and their daughters Abigail and Brianna.

Funeral services for David will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Bove, pastor, St. Paul’s Church, officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 5, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Burial will occur at the convenience of the family.
