Cora Moore

Cora B. Moore, 86, of Hudson, FL, passed away October 1, 2016. She was a winter resident of Hudson, FL, and summer resident of South New Berlin.

A native of Corbett, NY, Cora was one of 14 children born to Osmer and Myrtle (Myers) Beadle. Cora was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her memberships included the First Baptist Church of South New Berlin, NY, The Order of The Eastern Star, and Rebekah Lodge, an independent order of the Odd Fellows.

Cora was preceded in death by her first husband, and father of her children, Harlan T. Harris, in 1985. She remarried years later and in 2010 her husband, Harold Moore, passed away.

Survivors include her three sons, Gerald Harris and his wife, Jeanne, of South New Berlin, Michael Harris and his wife, Dodi, of Norwich, and Timothy Harris and his wife, Theresa, of Magnolia, DE; daughter, Kathleen Sampson and her husband, Richard, of Spring Hill, FL; brother Robert Beadle, of South New Berlin; three sisters, Betty Stone, of Mt. Upton, Doris Smeltzer, of Endicott, and Jenny Carpenter, of Norwich; ten grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Cora will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., October 11, 2016, at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Riverside Cemetery in South New Berlin. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10.
