Alex Tubolino

Alex D. “Tubes” Tubolino, 26, of Norwich and Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in Syracuse, NY.

Born on June 29, 1995, in Norwich, Alex was the son of Melissa (Bodine) Tubolino, who survives, and the late John M. Tubolino. He was a member of the Norwich High School class of 2013. Alex played football with the Cyclones at a young age, and enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and dirt bike, skateboarding, and ice skating. He loved being in the outdoors. Alex often visited his family in West Virginia, and he absolutely adored his son, Evander, who survives. He was a wonderful father to his son. Alex worked for a time at Baillie Lumber, the Raymond Corporation, and most recently for a solar panel company. His sobriety was his most recent accomplishment and focus.

In addition to his son, Evander, and mother, Melissa, and Melissa’s fiancée, Van Miles, Alex is survived by his brother, John A. Tubolino, of San Diego, CA, sister, Katie Carpenter, and her husband, Justin, of Norwich, niece, Aubree Carpenter, nephew, Jadyn Carpenter, grandmother, Joyce Marie, aunt, Karen Galliford (“Aunt Dee”), of Rochester, the mother of his son, Ciana Marte, and numerous family members in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and La Fargeville, NY. He is also survived by the Brissette family, whom Alex adored. In addition to his father, John, Alex was predeceased by his grandparents, Duane Bodine, and Donald and Joan Tubolino.

Friends are invited to call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021, at the Wilson Funeral Home. The wearing of facial coverings in required.
