Agnes M. “Aggie” Edatie, 74, of Norwich, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2023 with her family by her side.

Born on April 5, 1949, in Afton, NY, Aggie was the daughter of Harold and Mary Frances (Caracciolo) Dilello. She attended school in Afton and later earned an associate’s degree from SUNY Morrisville Norwich Campus. Aggie was a well-known antiques dealer in the greater Norwich region and loved selling costume jewelry. She loved selling at local antique shows and was a power seller on eBay.

Aggie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and often could be found at community events. She loved attending “Music in the Park” on Thursday nights during the summer months.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed finding that next deal at garage sales or at an auction.

On March 29, 1990, she married Stephan Edatie, who survives. In addition, she is survived by her children, Paul Benedict, of Washington, Angela (David) Benedict, of Norwich, Amber Schraft, of Norwich, and Stephanie (Shane) Edatie, of Norwich; grandchildren, Tammy, Shannon, Jennifer, Daniel, Noah, Damian, Gabrielle, Dominick, David, Carter, Aydrielle, Brayliona, Elaysia, Gabriel, and Vincent; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Cecilia (Don) Gifford and Cynthia (Scott) Davis; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, who were very important to her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Frances on September 25, 2011.
